  • Job Summary:

    • Provide our customers with the analytic rigor needed to fully execute their mission.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct digital asset/cryptocurrency investigations, including tracing blockchain transactions.

    • Analyze blockchain data to identify patterns and anomalies.

    • Conduct research and data analysis, author investigative reports, and present findings to team members and customers.

    • Review the adequacy and completeness of investigations and data collection methods to ensure authenticity, accuracy, and relevance, resulting in more thorough investigations and analytic assessments.

    • Stay current on the latest cryptocurrency developments and emerging threats.

    • Provide investigative and analytic support for extremely complex, technical, and highly sensitive investigations and initiatives related to financial crimes, including cryptocurrencies.

    • Prepare in-depth summaries of data from extensive research and analysis, offering recommendations for investigations, lead follow-up, and identifying potential risks that could hinder an investigation.

    Requirements:

    • Active TS/SCI Clearance

    • A degree in cybersecurity, cyber crime, intelligence, criminal justice, forensic accounting, data analytics, or a similar experience

    • Previous work experience conducting complex financial crime investigations for federal government, intelligence analysis or law enforcement investigations, or equivalent forensic experience related to dark web, counterterrorism, or technical analysis highly desired

    • Deep understanding of the cryptocurrency ecosystem, including knowledge of various blockchain networks, cryptocurrencies, and exchanges.

    • Experience leveraging current blockchain analytics tools, offered by firms such as Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic and/or Heights Labs, to conduct cryptocurrency investigations.

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    • A passion for blockchain/cryptocurrency/digital asset technology

    • Positions will require employees to be onsite anywhere from 2-5 days per week, depending on contract specifics. Travel may also be required.

  • Job Title: 

    • Law Enforcement Blockchain Analyst (Part-Time)

    Job Summary: 

    • Grow, develop, and support Outrider Analytics’ Local and State Law Enforcement Blockchain Intelligence Team. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Leverage existing, and grow new, relationships within the State and Local Law Enforcement community in an effort to grow Outrider Analytics'  Local and State Law Enforcement Blockchain Intelligence Team.

    • Provide support to Local and State Law Enforcement agencies in the form of training and Investigative Support Services. 

    • Conduct digital asset/cryptocurrency investigations, including tracing blockchain transactions.

    • Analyze blockchain data to identify patterns and anomalies.

    • Conduct research and data analysis, author investigative reports, and present findings to team members and State and Local Law Enforcement customers. 

    • Review the adequacy and completeness of investigations and data collection methods to ensure authenticity, accuracy, and relevance, resulting in more thorough investigations and analytic assessments.

    • Stay current on the latest cryptocurrency developments and emerging threats.

    Compensation: 

    • $40-$75 an hour.

    • Commission in support of sold Training and Investigative Support Services sold to Local and State Law Enforcement customers.
